Daewoong Pet, a leading companion animal healthcare company, announced on the 10th that it has launched its premium pet supplements at Molly’s Pet, a specialty pet store operated by retail giant Emart. This move aims to diversify offline distribution channels and drive growth in the high-quality pet supplement market.
The company has introduced three of its flagship products—Bearzyme Pet, Impactamin Pet for Dogs, and Anniwell Plant-Based rTG Omega-3—at 18 Molly’s Pet locations within Emart stores across South Korea. Daewoong Pet plans to expand its presence to additional locations nationwide in the near future.
While the offline pet market has traditionally focused on food and treats, Daewoong Pet is making a strategic leap by offering scientifically formulated supplements in large-scale offline retail channels. Until now, the company’s products were primarily available through online platforms. With this launch, consumers can now access Daewoong Pet’s “human-standard” technology-driven supplements in physical stores.
Molly’s Pet now carries Bearzyme Pet, a digestive enzyme supplement adapted from Daewoong Pharmaceutical’s long-standing best-seller “Bearzyme,” and Impactamin Pet, a high-potency active vitamin supplement based on the human version “Impactamin.” Impactamin Pet has already gained significant popularity online, particularly on e-commerce platforms such as Coupang. Additionally, Anniwell Plant-Based rTG Omega-3, a vegan omega-3 supplement for pets, is now available, allowing health-conscious pet owners to examine and choose products in person.
Through this partnership, Daewoong Pet aims to offer a wider range of product choices in offline settings and create more opportunities for consumers to engage with the brand. The company expects this expansion to enhance the visibility of its health-focused supplement line and contribute to better pet wellness nationwide.
Daewoong Pet also plans to leverage Molly’s Pet’s expertise in the pet product category and its robust retail network to strengthen its competitiveness and make a bold entry into the offline supplement market.
CEO Hyojoon Lee commented, “We believe our partnership with Emart’s Molly’s Pet will inject fresh energy into the offline pet market. The synergy between Daewoong Pet’s advanced supplement technologies and Emart’s leadership in offline retail will offer pet lovers more choices and contribute to happier, healthier lives for their pets.”
